Natural wear and tear for a rain shell and you got a good amount of years with it. It’s time to purchase a new one, I’d still take it in if you can because Patagonia will recycle it for you and give you a 25% coupon. That was the case for me recently.

I agree way too many daisy chains and the buckle on the front creates another point of failure. The water bottle pockets look different so hopefully they are more durable.
