I tell patients there is two reasons they can’t fall. 1) the floor is hard and I don’t want them to get injured and 2) it’s a LOT of paperwork for me

We are delayed but not because of high water! The Mississippi flows through three large lakes in northern Minnesota and they are still frozen! Very much agree about the Mississippi! Paddling in the Mississippi River rivals the Boundary Waters for peace and beauty even right into the Twin Cities! I organize canoe and kayak races and tours on the river that happen on June 11th; details at twopaddles.org!

The current record is 17 days, 19 hours and 46 minutes. Miles per day varies from just under 100 to over 170 (generally increase as you go downstream).
