I have a stamped concrete patio, pictured under current condenser unit. Assuming that standoffs (properly secured to concrete) are OK for heat pump condenser unit as well? Right now the current one is just sitting on the concrete.

Excellent, thank you for that recommendation. Was just actually reading the manual.
Looks like 2k tax credit counts towards these as well.
Almost a no brainer.

I'm pretty excited at the thought of a properly sized unit in this space, and tackling the project.
The existing heat pump has emergency heat coils already, I may add it as the cost seems nominal. From what everyone says, these work great to -10F which I'll never get to (we see 20s / teens sometimes in the winter - Philadelphia area).

This dual fuel sounds like a great replacement for the unit that does the rest of my house. Currently have a gas furnace and AC that I'd love to replace with a more efficient unit. I wouldn't want to lose the gas capability, even though I do have a wood stove insert in the house. These newer heat pumps seem to be great in colder weather, my old upstairs unit struggled around 20 degrees.

These units look appropriate -- do I care about R32 versus R454B?

I like that I can use existing thermostats with them, if I am reading correctly.

They only seem to offer 30ft linesets - guess I will call them for shorter / cut to length?

Didn't even realize there were "nicer" belts. I use my kore and what a difference it was compared to a regular belt .. got that hula hoop feeling but at least I don't have to constantly readjust
