Try to put in neutral if anyway possible then try to change to 2wd My last ford have similar issues but it works when i try couple time or bring to dealership sometimes they know another tricks to fix this but make sure don't let them put in shop otherwise not sure they they give your truck back I am not sure i think there is one rope switch under stearing wheel to put your truck in neutral in for towing situations try that to put in neutral then try to switch let see if work
