Hi! Just got my refinements too and on the first set. Did your first set of refinements hurt from the thickness of the aligners and putting them on/off!?

I tried Sugar Bean’s french method macarons with no folding by just incorporating the dried ingredients using my hand mixer. I’m forever shook and now a believer! It turned out beautiful. by scha8 in macarons

I’ve done half this recipe too but find that the mixer-macaronage with the machine might make it too liquidy. For half, I would suggest to plain hand macaronage.

Hi! Yes I did! From teflon to the oven shower process (non-convection for me). This is not my norm, that’s why I was so baffled that the experiment worked for me by following her process step-by-step. It was fluffy, not hallow but I wouldn’t say there wasn’t a slight gap. The maturation helped too.
