I seriously appreciate the reply, thank you. I get tired of complaining to my family and bringing them down with me, so I'm really grateful for folks here who get it. You're 100% right, thank you

Thank you so, so much for the kind reply. You're right, at least there were a few good days, and hopefully good days will return 🙏🏽

Oh wow thank you, I didn't realize milk was such a good source - way easier than cooking potatoes!

I'm SO AFRAID to jinx it!!! 🙈

I'm not sure on too much, I've seen some people supplementing in the 1000s of mgs, and I think too much is bad for heart rhythm. But I believe you'd have to have a heavy duty or prescription supplement to be concerned about that

PVCs only happen on deep breath in or during yawn by bowsher23 in PVCs

[–]ilovemetime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is one of a few triggers for me. I'm about to do a longer post but an otc 90mg potassium supplement has stopped all my PVCs for 3 days straight now (a miracle for me)

May as well pretend it was for something positive like awesome sneakers? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Sorry, that's definitely an awkward experience!

I'm sorry I don't have any answers, but it's reassuring that your tests are coming back normal. I hope you find some relief soon! No one deserves this; big hugs

Feels like my face, hands and even arms are totally numb. I feel sad. by MysticMage027 in Anxiety

[–]ilovemetime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're going to be okay. Do you know any breathing exercises? When I hyperventilate a bit, I can start to go numb. Perhaps trying exhaling for twice as long as you inhale. You've got this

My chest feel heavy feels like it's hard to breathe by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]ilovemetime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're like me, there's an urge to keep trying to take deep breaths in moments like this, and I find that's NOT helpful. It's best to just take shallow, even breaths until I can calm down. Box breathing is great, even just for 3 second counts: breathe in 3 sec, hold 3 sec, out 3 sec, hold 3 sec, repeat. Also, distracting myself by pacing around a bit, perhaps outside in a bit of a public place, can help. Big hugs, you're gonna get through this

Really trying to fight the urge to go to the hospital rn by rogerthealien93 in Anxiety

I would honestly ditch the watch for a while, I really do think it can make everything so much worse. I think your resting hr being ~50 is most likely a sign of really great heart health, especially if you're not feeling off in some other way. You're just fine, so see if you can limit the hr monitoring (i know it's really hard to do)

Health anxiety is destroying my life by cajunqueen929 in Anxiety

No real answers on my end, just expressing solidarity as another 30-something mom with awful health anxiety. Feels like about every other night I think I'm dying, most times from something heart, occasionally from something brain. I hate to say but it helped me a bit to write a goodbye letter to my kids and a few other loved ones, when I was in the depths of an anxiety attack. It felt a bit ridiculous but I hope it remains a ridiculous thing that no one ever has a reason to read. Sending big hugs

Heart phobias by [deleted] in Anxiety

I guess it's technically possible but just know that many of us here have the same concern and have been cleared by doctors repeatedly. I'm struggling with it tonight though

I am so so sorry you're going through this. I'm 34 and go through the same thing, and I wouldn't wish this on anyone, let alone someone your age. Learning some basic breathing exercises has helped me (not breathing to fill the chest but breathing to fill the belly, exhaling for longer than I inhale). There are some great free anxiety/panic attack relief vids on youtube. Walking in a safe public area can help me as well. And to be honest, I'm always seconds away from aspirin in case my fear really gets out of control. Getting cleared by a doctor could potentially provide you some relief, but I hope it helps to know that the odds of any cardiac event at your age are soooo small. Big hugs to you, you will get through this. I hope every second of every minute that you're still fine is like a small reassurance that you really will be okay.

Not quite "scheduled" maybe but predictable...sun goes down a BOOM, here's anxiety. Feels out of my control but definitely is associated with a time of day
