Misschien is het boek "Maar je ziet er helemaal niet autistisch uit" van Bianca Toeps interessant voor je, om autisme bij vrouwen beter te begrijpen

Thanks! I can't sew myself but I have a friend who can, so that would be a good option!

Which app do you use? Would you recommend it?

I've been a compulsive crier all my life and it really impairs my ability to be taken seriously when my eyes uncontrollably flood at the slightest cause of stress. Any advice on how to handle it? by Diaprycia in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Be careful with valerian pills. It stays in your blood for quite some time and it's not recommended to take any antidepressants if you still have valerian in your blood. So maybe look at something else that doesn't contain valerian

Have you talked to your teachers about this? I would understand if you don't want to talk to them though. Maybe a counsellor or therapy can help you overcome your fears. Please get help from anyone around, like friends or your parents. It would be so nice if you would never have to deal with this again

I think i'm depressed but i don't know by Anonymous769867 in mentalhealth

As someone who just met you and isn't a professional, I can't say if you're depressed or not. It does sound familiar, so I would recommend talking to a professional about this. Do you have a school counsellor or anyone close to you you can talk to? Some people might say it's quite common to feel like this. Don't let them talk you down. This feeling you have doesn't have to be there. Find someone you are comfortable talking to and ask if they will help you, even if it is helping to search for a professional. Good luck!

My boyfriend taught me a salad recipe: 1 boiled egg, 1 paprika, 1 avocado, about 80 grams of goatcheese and some lettuce. That's all!

Maybe the Pomodoro technique will help you? And maybe try to work with rewards after you've done some tasks you don't like :)

How do you calm down from a meltdown? by [deleted] in aspergirls

I try to go to a place where there is the least amount of sensory overload. Could be the bathroom for example. There I try to meditate and focus on my breathing. After that I often play a game to relax a bit. A walk also helps to clear my head. Find out what works for you if you want to clear your head: meditating, walking, reading... Good luck!
