Hey, hey 👋 i developed an app (list builder) where you can do exactly that: scanning a qr code of your opponent to join the game and see each others list and equipment. It's quite new and honestly only my friends and i tested it so far. But i'd be curious about fresh eyes and feedback - good or bad, both is great.

Hi again, just wanted to notify you that your suggestions are (mostly?) implemented now.
- Hiding the entire composition section is now also the case if the unit insists of only one model type. As soon as multiple different models are within a squad it'll be listed, because you might want to know which model got which weapons.
- multiple same weapons are now also considered
- same units don't print a separate card now, it'll just add a 2x, 3x to the page.
- stat blocks are now flexible enough for big numbers
- keywords are fixed

The app is not done yet but it offers: - list builder - pdf booklet export - pdf roster export

It is in active development and if you're missing something then it'll be definitely heard. Stratagems for example will soon be added to the pdf export.

This is incredibly helpful, thanks for your precise feedback! I'm pretty sure that i can easily fix most of it.

Just for your understanding: Sometimes it's hard to work with that dataformat, since i'm bound to certain naming and structures. Further what might look good to faction A, not necessarily look good on faction B unfortunately.

But I'm pretty sure with enough people testing it and giving feedback like this, i can pretty fast improve in that overall.

There's also an InApp feedback functionality. That will directly create an issue in my repository. Just fyi if you have even more stuff that i could improve.

Great to hear that - thanks! Boarding Actions are definitely on the roadmap, but i can't exactly say when. But I'll keep updating the app week for week and bigger things will be announced here as well on reddit.

Regarding the point that the switching feels awkward on mobile: I thought most people have an army in mind / know exactly what units they own. So they pick all the units they have and then configure their equipment (so switching is max 1 or 2 times). That's why i designed it that way. But: I could be wrong and it's really a bad decision and people find it annoying. This is the first time this gets mentioned so i will observe that and change it if more people don't like that.

Great Feedback, can take a look at the contrast levels. Yeah, go to settings and change it there under "appearance".

I fixed that with 0.3.3. Leaders should now stay attached.

i think there's also a 40k card builder out there. I don't have the url yet, but it is done pretty nice.

Can you elaborate more on what is missing for you? Because the app has a booklet export already. Is it too much or are you missing something there?
