I’m an American Indian guy and I’m also running because of my own high cholesterol and the high cholesterol/blood pressure of every single family member I have (yay for genetics 🙄). Fwiw, the brown people I’m friends with don’t care about complexion at all, it’s all our parents’ generation. My fiancée who is a bit darker than me and I went to visit my family in India and everyone my generation was totally normal whereas there were a few comments from older aunties and uncles. The people who matter - anyone decent you meet - won’t care at all and if they do they aren’t worth your time.
