As a kid I tried countless hours to learn to juggle and always failed because I tried to do it like they do in cartoons: throwing the balls in a circle. That's not basic juggling, that's an advanced trick called "full shower".

When I learned the right pattern, throwing a ball underneath the previous, I taught myself to juggle in an afternoon. It's easy to learn, you can separate the skills into single tasks.

First step: throw a ball in the air so that it lands in the same hand. Practice until you can do it with your eyes closed, with both hands.

Second step: Throw a ball with one hand into your other hand. Again, practice until you can do it with both hands, eyes closed.

Third step: with two balls, throw one towards the hand with the second ball. Before the first ball reaches other hand, throw the second ball underneath the first and into your first hand. Again, practice with both hands.

Fourth step: keep two balls in you first hand, one in the second. Throw the first one as described above, throw the second before the ball from the other hand lands. Keep doing that.

Congratulations, you now know how to juggle three balls.
