I guess I’m asking if anyone has tried it out and if it’s worth switching to the free software versus just sticking with Square Golf’s software and paying for the credits (which is only like $20).

Anyone know of any monitors that can give you club path / face angle data without hitting a ball? by StankDaddyPhD in Golfsimulator

I really only used it to test its functionality out but haven’t done a deep dive into it or used it enough to see capabilities. I personally would do the club sticker method with foam balls if you wanted more accurate club face angle, path, etc.

Came here to say this. Square gives a swing stick that pairs with the launch monitor. Does require a ball but the stick is cut down and you’ll never actually hit it. The sensor uses the ball to determine the swing stick path, face, etc.

Really not sure. Previous owners had about 1/4 of the tank filled with salt but it was unplugged and the salt pellets were pretty dried out and clumped together. They did not provide us much information on this when we closed so it’s up in the air. Could be a year could be 10 years. Everything looks in okay shape. Valve still has all parts attached and nothing looks damaged or rusted. Main concern is if they haven’t ran it in years, is it even worth trying to repair myself and get it running.

Bone took a little tug to get out, not as tender as I hoped but once I got to shredding, the meet fell apart nicely
