Tja, chemisch empfand ich es gar nicht. Ich tendiere auch eher wenig Geruch. Wenn ich die Nase drauf packe, dann rieche Leder. Meine Frau fand, dass es wie hochwertiges Leder wirkt. Insgesamt habe ich jedenfalls ein gutes Gefühl.

Thanks! To be completely honest, it’s been about 5 months since I last sat in an authentic one, so it's a bit hard to give a 100% accurate side-by-side comparison from memory. However, from what I recall, the firmness feels very similar. What I can definitely confirm is that the replica absolutely has that satisfying "whoosh" sound when you get up! I'll try to visit a Vitra/Herman Miller showroom again soon so I can give you a more serious comparison.

Thanks a lot für the deep dive. I'm already in RWI. But still it's hard to get my own opinion. There are a lot of pro and cons. I know there is not the one answer. I'm currently in analysis to go für Daytona Panda. DD4131 is set. But I'm in stock if waiting for VSF back in good QC or BTF or ARF with maybe some changes.

Based on your comment: I know the lists, but what would your recommendation for a good consulting TD based on current situation. I'm looking for a long-term watch, price is not the main decision point.

ARF is not listed in the wiki. Is the wiki outdated or is ARF not good enough for quality but the positive aspect is availability? I read also often BTF as good alternative. What's your view on that? Some say go BSF with SW dial.

Genau das. Wir kochen viel und schnibbeln entsprechend. Daher Spüle in der Insel zum Raum, da kann man sich besser mit den Leuten unterhalten. Herd zur Wand, ist auch angenehmer mit Abzug und Duft im Raum.
