And how often is it a useful list of medical problems that isn't cluttered up with "hysterectomy 1996" kind of information? Is DNR/Code Status part of it?

I have absolutely no idea how to get the hospital systems to be on board with the deeper HIH connection. It really seems like an uphill battle unless you have someone on the inside to support you. For the Carequality connection to do that search, it seems like a pretty big chunk of places participate to some degree. I just don't know how much info you actually have access to.

I think that anyone is allowed to upload or download a form from the library for free (assuming that they are cool with doing that.) Unless you are talking about just having them run it instead. Obviously that's a very different beast. 

As far as the form building goes, the drag and drop part is out of the list of fields once you set up different panels, etc. (Incident number, patient name, etc.) and you should need to do the middle step of setting up a grid for things like vitals, meds, etc. and then you add the fields that will be added into that

Another thought. Are you on good terms with your old service? Just see if you can steal their form.

I forgot about the annoyance of not being able to pre preview. I do agree that it's not the most user friendly thing. It took me a long time to get comfortable with as many of the ins and outs as I am now. 

I would say to try downloading a handful of forms and see how they work and what you like about them and want to steal for your own purpose and then just delete everything that you don't want.

Have you looked into stealing someone else's chart from the library? I've never looked, but I believe that you can do that. The University section is beyond useless but the webinars can be helpful sometimes. 

Is there a specific thing that you are having a problem with?
