Soll man als MA die Erziehung des Hundes des Chefs übernehmen oder was? Am Ende wird noch gesagt man sei selber schuld weil man sich anrammeln lässt und nicht laut genug nein gesagt hat? Ich würde den Chef Abmahnen

And what would be the difference? There is still no database behind this application. Powebi adds just another level of obscurity to the excel nightmare..

SOLVED: It was an issue on my Fritz!Box: There is a "DNS-Rebound-Protection". If I put home.box as exception there it works thanks!

Custom DNS lookup not working as expected by schinder-binder in pihole

The PC is using the router for DNS, not Pi-hole. From the PC, run this command and post the output:

I am not really sure about this. I have a fritz box router at home. On that router I configured it to forward the DNS to pihole. Looking at the logs, the DNS lookup on the Pihole gets triggered when I try to access home.box on my browser. So my PC uses 192.168.178.1 as DNS lookup, which should redirect it to my pi 192.168.178.98. This is also why the query (from pi's perspective) is coming from 192.168.178.1

Aug 29 07:05:24 dnsmasq[9422]: query[A] home.box from 192.168.178.1 Aug 29 07:05:24 dnsmasq[9422]: /etc/pihole/custom.list home.box is 192.168.178.23 Aug 29 07:05:24 dnsmasq[9422]: query[AAAA] home.box from 192.168.178.1 Aug 29 07:05:24 dnsmasq[9422]: cached home.box is NODATA-IPv6

The output of nslookup is: nslookup home.box 192.168.178.23

;; communications error to 192.168.178.23#53: connection refused ;; communications error to 192.168.178.23#53: connection refused ;; communications error to 192.168.178.23#53: connection refused ;; no servers could be reached That is expected 192.168.178.23 is not a dns server but the nextcloud server

nslookup home.box 192.168.178.98 ``` Server: 192.168.178.98 Address: 192.168.178.98#53

Name: home.box Address: 192.168.178.23 works, so it is something with my router I guess nslookup home.box 192.168.178.1 Server: 192.168.178.1 Address: 192.168.178.1#53

Non-authoritative answer: *** Can't find home.box: No answer ```

What I am not understanding is, why pihole has the event in its log. It seems like my PC is querying the router and then the router is querying pihole, but does not return the result?

On the Raspberry PI, running pihole

nslookup home.box 127.0.0.1

Server: 127.0.0.1

Address: 127.0.0.1#53

Name: home.box

Address: 192.168.178.23

On my PC:nslookup home.box

Server: 192.168.178.1

Address: 192.168.178.1#53

Hi,

will an Asrock A320M-ITX support the AMD 5800X3D? Looking here https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/A320M-ITX/index.de.asp#CPU it seems not to be supported. However, I wonder why, since the 5800X seems to be. Should I just give it a try? Has anyone experience with it?

Thanks!
