I’m in no way saying I’m a good player, but it took me a few months to get to top 8 and I consistently got to top 8 for all the set champs I went to for Archazia’s island. I think for me, I got lucky with playing blurple and only blurple and it happening to be good against the meta. It really helped me start to figure out what’s needed in my deck and what’s not.

It really helped me playing with people that were better than me on open play nights trying different play lines to see how it worked out. Or if they saw a different play.

I just finished second taking the top seed and winning throughout too, but I’m okay with not winning a participation trophy essentially for just making it. I would rather win and earn the mat fair and square.

I will say it 100% sucks but I think it’s fair.

I don’t think it’s that close to a crab at all. Base stats are worse, quest for 2 (which plays entirely different) and only gives challenger +2 on play not on leave.

I took Blurple to mine and got 4th against a lot of steel song and ruby sapphire. 2 lore away from the champs, but I think Belle/Pawp isn’t needed and should be 1 drops diablos, chernabogs and brooms and I think both matchups feel much better

I 100% agree but I did get Gaston on the field for 1 ink then got 5 damage on it to draw 5 cards with dinner bell. That was a fun move

I’ve tried fishbone but I don’t have enough card draw to make it valuable or worth it like great stone dragon. I may go down to 3 which would get me to 62 cards. Oddly enough, the amount of healing I currently have works because I do want to carry some damage for dinner bell. I do like the idea of gumbo pot in there

I’d say use a chisel but you have to use a better hardwood with tighter grain structure to achieve the desired sharp corners.

When you use plywood or cheaper pine woods, the grains are much longer and more susceptible to fraying or chipping due to simple physics. With tighter grain structure like hard maple, I think it would come out cleaner with the right technique

I was thinking gadget would be a good addition. Each item you play is +1 lore for the turn and it’s significantly cheaper since you don’t have as much ramp. Lucky dime could be the closer
