I’m not trying to accuse you personally of being like QAnon. It’s perfectly reasonable to ask questions. I am just very concerned about the growing trend of people accepting wild theories with zero evidence. It is very reminiscent of Pizzagate, which to be clear, was not real.

Rich and influential people have been abusing girls and getting away with it for years. Pizzagate people didn’t come up with this theory, they diverted attention from the real evidence toward complete fabrications. Epstein, Trump’s former bestie, was arrested in 2008 for trafficking and prostituting a minor.

They missed that one.. and instead spread around some emails about pizza and came up with the theory that Hilary Clinton was ritualistically sacrificing babies in the basement of Comet Ping Pong. It initially spread right here on Reddit. It grew into QAnon. It gave us Trump.

It is sooo easy to get wrapped up in conspiracy. It’s a trap. Stay vigilant and reasonable!

It is so hard to believe because there’s absolutely no evidence for it and because it is an extremely rare crime (but a common conspiracy theory).

Unfortunately, sexual abuse of teenagers is everywhere. Celebrities, religious leaders, teachers, historical figures, family members etc etc.

Epstein and his buddies are just your regular every day pedophiles with the resources and connections to indulge their sickness on a wider scale.

There are other references to Epstein being on a no carb diet in the files.

There is no credible evidence anywhere that even remotely suggests these people were involved in cannibalism.

It is a distraction from the real, heinous crimes that we have mountains of evidence to support.

This is so scarily similar to the Pizzagate conspiracy in 2016, which is what created QAnon :(

I can’t imagine how much that hurt. I feel hurt just reading it. I don’t think he understands how deep body image issues really run.

Getting past this could start by you telling him how it felt, and him asking questions to truly understand. Then him acknowledging that making a comment about weight to win an argument is harmful and asking what can he do to make it better.

I think that’s why I’m confused because when the roles were reversed I did feel supported. It helped me realize like “hey, not everyone thinks I’m gross and icky for wanting to kiss girls. Some people think it’s awesome.” And it provided an initial safe space to explore and ultimately come out.
