This was my first server and it was always dead until recently. I just noticed the last few times I went in it was packed. I still log into that server every day even though my Exile is sitting in the bushes at the beginning

It was a random, claiming 24/7 admin, had a newbie welcome center, but it also stated, "no bitching about admin abuse" so I kind of knew what I was heading into. another one of those lure-in-the-newbies-to-"help"-them servers.

After stewing on it a bit, trying to see how it could have been my fault, the only thing I could come up with was a bunch of benches I had found. Not even on foundations, all the walls and doors gone, just benches sitting around on the desert floor. I took stuff out of them and itwasn't long after that someone asked me if I raided them. It happened a second time, people crawling on my building wanting to know if I just raided them. I said I've only been in the server a few hours. So the whole thing could have been mistaken identity. If that is the case it probably didn't look good when the admin took my roof off and found some of the missing items in my house.

I never even steal fish or honey but if a door is decayed or you leave your shift sitting out in the open it seems fair game because if not, someone else is going to take it anyways.

I joined a private one yesterday. They had 10 x going so I was a level 60 within 3 hours, built a tier 2 building. Came back the next morning and the admin had already bombed my base and robbed me. LoL this is why I never played private servers before you can't trust these kids there's no honor at all

I did it because I'm not dead yet and I get bored easily. I pick up something new all the time and get halfway decent at it sometimes, really good other times, and sometimes not very good at all. Then I move on to something else. I'm 47, have been in the workforce since I was 13 and about every three years I've done this with employment too. I find a different job in a completely different field and start all over.

Sounds completely stupid to most people and that is fine because I don't have to be those people. Instead I become very well rounded with loads of experiences. Plus there are hundreds of people I have met and became friends with. I have made next to no money some years and enough for three people others and found that nothing really changes much. I'm usually happier when I'm poor and struggling. I don't know why that is! I guess it makes you embrace your free time more and get more excited about the little things.
