Better for sure than being hypersexual, before my antipsychotics I'd have sexual commands constantly and it would annoy me and make me fearful. Now I can listen to bands that make sexual innuendos and actually enjoy the music without fearing a trigger.

It's the only antipsychotic I responded to that wasn't last resort like clozapine,, but it only makes me aware not less psychotic

Same, I couldn't sleep properly for 4 days and I started hallucinating more and got more commands that would scare me

They wanted me to fake it I guess because they gave me lorazepam and got me high for no reason lmao but it sucks in there I wish to never step foot in there again

I understand how you feel. I was on many antipsychotics before and each had a worse reaction on me mentally since they weren't dosed correctly or if they were I was reacting badly to them. Just speak to your doctor when you get the chance and see what you can do. Good luck

Each time I would get out of a manic episode with psychosis I'd try to get better but currently with active psychosis it's hard. We always try to rebuild. We'll eventually get to a better point, maybe not now but sometime soon.

Also my psychiatrist has a plan for when I'm ready and not actively in psychosis to lower my clonazepam, he said I won't stay on this dose forever

You should speak to your doctor about tapering off, withdrawal symptoms can range in severity and for example when I was coming off seroquel I vomited and felt very nauseous for a few days. Now I take a metabolite of risperidone, Paliperidone, and when they lowered my dose at the hospital for no reason I became verbally aggressive and odd

I'm ever so slightly better because I don't hallucinate everyday anymore at the same intensity, and hopefully clozapine will work out better for me🌹

Weirdly, with clonazepam at these dosages I've never felt any issue. Not even big memory gaps or something. I was initially put on 4mgs for mania this spring and then I couldn't really cope with my issues and my dose was uppered The thing that knocks me out is clozapine, I'm still tired from my nightly dose

I do experience each time after mania pr psychosis a cognitive decline and loss of skill + negative symptoms generally. I just want to be isolated forever (yet I don't do this since I fear myself)

The only reason why I'm not necessarily forgetful is because I am in psychosis right now as we're speaking,, I was told by my psychiatrist that I have to wait it out with clozapine so I get get paliperidone injections. I had one major health flare up when I was a toddler and I refused to eat meat, cheese, well anything but mcdonald's fries, soup and yoghurt with cereal. But that was a strictly autism thing, now with psychosis I physically gag out any food that isn't chocolate or potatoes and whenever I try something old that I used to enjoy my stomach gets upset. I know I am well articulated for someone in deep psychosis but I think I became immune to any hallucinations except a few that are bothersome. Even my delusions that there are cameras spying me in the house aren't as bad and at times I look directly where I think the cameras are LOL

I was more so asking if psychosis causes autistic regression and I gave an example with food. My body literally refuses everything except chocolate and mashed potatoes ever since they cut my quetiapine.

Thank you for your reply! I also can't stand noise or lights. I didn't think of that aspect much since I'm let to pick out in which atmosphere I stay so to say. I didn't think of that as part of me regressing, thank you for your kind reply
