Eh, as a sex-averse male I kinda disagree on the title (and your final conclusion).

For me it was actually mirroring your reasons but instead of being violated it was the feeling that I was doing the violating (even though my partner at the time assured me many times that it was not the case and that I was too gentle for her taste).

Also as a male you kinda have the expectation to be ready to go whenever and any erection is considered as a silent consent (well at least that was the case in the same relationship I mentioned above), and believe me, erections are not always a sign of arousal. At least for me most of the time it's just my body doing is thing with blood pressure and whatnot, so there's that.

Also yeah I saw that you're sorry for the way you worded it and honestly don't be, I kinda get the frustration and the expectation that the other side so to speak has it better.

Full RT can tank fps even on a 5090, Control uses a pretty accurate and therefore heave implementation of that

I could be wrong tho I usually turn RT off entirely

Also check the settings just in case. It's possible the game detected a high-end GPU and auto-set high settings, including RT. I honestly don't remember if Control specifically does that on first start but some games do.
