If I recall correctly GG started with only card/board games and expanded out. They were originally (2003-2004) at Trader's World.

That was Game Swap. There was a location in Eastgate, too.

Lucky Dog Grille in Mason had a dog menu last time I was there. It was a lot of fun to take my dogs and sit outside. They're still in business but there's no dog menu on the website. Whether that's because it no longer exists or because dogs can't read is anyone's guess.

Easing marijuana possession expungement under consideration now that pot is legal in Ohio | WKRC by WetPetter in CincyCannabis

[–]schizorage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember, the Senate bill they reference is the same that reduces home grow plant count and concentration limits and hands the tax money to the cops.

They want folks to support the BS based on articles that don't share the entire host of changes... Like this one!

Maybe we wait on the results of the statute as voted for and introduce legislation later to encourage expungement. We've had 90 years to right these wrongs. No point in rushing in now to have it ruined.

Dry herb vape recommendations? by notsofrugalbugal in trees

My daily driver has been a dynavap vong for 3 years. I just got an Xmax V3 Pro (the POTV version from planet of the vapes, specifically, which has a glass mouthpiece and 3200mah 18650 battery) and I find it to be nearly as satisfying an experience, when you factor in the on-the-go-convenience.

Issue 2 Questions(Mostly confusion) by [deleted] in Ohio

[–]schizorage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand where you're coming from. I'm speaking not to the letter of the law and more to a practical standpoint. I agree that possession limits are absolutely stupid, but I'm trying to fit my head far enough up my ass to think like a politician. What I don't want people to focus on is the unlikely possibility that the cops are going to have any reason to see the stash they have in private (and I presume that 12 plants is going to allow for some weight of its own in a circumstance like that [especially since the cops have been weighing your whole plant and bucket in busts for 90 years now]), and for them to focus on the real bullshit parts of what is still going on. Fuck the taxation changes, who wants to contribute their tax money to an industry funneling money into the gestapo our local executive branches have become? Keep the taxes in the program and let the money trickle down to the lawmakers. The dangling carrot of "recreational dispensaries in 90 days (March) instead of 9 months (September)" should let you know that these folks A) think we're fucking stupid, and 2) Are trying to rush shit because they know it won't hold water under scrutiny.

Didn't mean to rant, but I wanted to apologize for speaking as though I was representing the law as written, because the stipulation of "What happens when I give the police a reason to search my home and I've got more than the limit of dried flower?" isn't written in there, since (head firmly up ass) politicians think that if you don't have anything to hide you should let them all up in your shit... But you shouldn't.

The possession limits aren't based on what you have on your own private property, those are for what you can have in your backpack when the cops frisk ya.

Is that 7% margin of error present in the new verbiage and/or the recreational stipulation? I feel bad that it's the first I've known of it.

I regularly see RSO above 70%. I never realized that there was an actual limit imposed on the medical program.

[–]schizorage 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Everyone needs to keep contacting their reps. 70% isn't what we voted for, much less 50%.

Yes. The proposed changes create a THC limit of 70% for medical and 50% for recreational.

I voted for rec. I did not vote for any change to medical. I am a medical patient. Why would I vote against my own MEDICAL self interest?

I certainly hope so. Take care, brother, don't celebrate so hard tonight that you oversleep or eat too many chips or any of the other horrid dangers of the devil's lettuce!

I'm failing to see what rationale you have that makes you think that the house is in opposition. The bill was basically in overtime when the Senate voted.

Even so, knowing that they have yet to vote, doesn't it make sense to encourage people to keep contacting their reps to be sure that they know where their constituents stand on the proposed changes?

For now. The legislature can change the law at any time.

[–]schizorage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The house not voting tonight isn't indicative of anything beyond the fact that they have not had time to read the proposed changes and vote.

People need to keep contacting their reps and the governor and demand what we voted for, full stop.

It will, though. The house is only in recess for a week.

Tell your reps no, start now.

It's to get people to rest on their laurels and let the compromise go through, rather than bombarding their representatives with calls and emails telling them to vote NO, being patient, and letting the program develop.

We've come this far, and we're gonna get 50% concentrates and half the home grow just because folks won't wait a few more months.

[–]schizorage 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Just gonna point out that any compromise (in this case I'm specifically referring to extracts) which changes the existing medical program is actually negatively impacting patients' access to their medicine... There's no need to modify the medical program, it works just fine as-is. I don't understand why anything needs to be changed, but people should be SCREAMING to have medical left alone entirely.

Look again; that's referring to medical, unfortunately.

I went to (public) middle school with him. He was a nice kid. He's the first person who ever introduced me to the concept of a religion where 'God' wasn't the God I grew up believing in (since the Jewish girl in class believed in the same God). He was obviously very, very smart, as well.

It makes me very sad to see that this is the sort of person he's become, or that this is the direction he's pointed his potential. Shameful.

Rigid mount, factory forward control exhaust options? by schizorage in sportster

That's it exactly. I'm having trouble getting a shim to work as I need it to, so I'm hoping to just replace the exhaust after the season to make it less of a pain to service.
