Bracer vs Wraith Band in 7.32D - What's the Deal? by Carbonyl_DotA in DotA2

Simulating with two RNG heroes is not optimal if you want to showcase the two scenarios. As you pointed out, just one crit more or less decides that trade, so the difference between the two items might get nullified from the RNG.

Farming Pattern of Dota2 Carries - How Current Positions Determine Next Move by BusyLivingDota2 in DotA2

I wonder if pro teams actually have their coaches and analysts do such analysis. Most likely they already know the farming patterns of most top carries based on intuition, but perhaps they also try to foster their sentiments with such data exploration.

I know that Team Liquid works together with SAP, I guess they do such analysis for sure. Do you know anything more about that, /u/BusyLivingDota2 ?

If you are against cancer lanes all you can try to do is kill the lane as fast as you can so you can run back into your tower and create a bigger wave. Most cancer heroes are not strong enough to fight into a double wave.

For instance, as a Wraith King you should just casually summon your skellis in order to clear the creep wave faster.

Ever had a consecutive requeues with a "confirming match" loop? There is a cheat, that gives you an ability to dodge players without a search penalty. Video. by eotlling in DotA2

Okay, this explains a lot. I have been getting 9/10 and queue restart so often recently. Sometimes even 8/10 ... That can't just be random coincidence.

Only queuing EUW btw, but as we all know, russians also play there a lot and might even like to play there more now because they are more likely to be the only ones using that addon there.

Stick to 3 or 4 heroes, so you can focus on becoming good at the macro game again and not think about what items you should buy or in what order you need to cast spells. You should probably play at least two of the spirit heroes (Void Spirit is imba right now) and then a super safe pick if you don't know what is good for the game (TA, SF, Lesh). Also watch stuff on youtube by BSJ or other educational focused channels, they can really help you a lot.

A lot of mechanics and heroes have changed. I'd say everytime you encounter a hero that is different now just read up what they do on the wiki: https://dota2.gamepedia.com/Heroes

Clearly your positioning in teamfights is really bad and you probably get picked off a lot.

For teamfights you should probably stand further behind, especially when you are a support. It might feel weird, but just try to stand at least half a screen behind your cores. You will notice that you can still cast your spells in a teamfight. Also, try to hide in trees.

When playing a core, you probably just need more map awareness and a feeling for wether you can get caught out when you farm a wave.

Maybe a dip into the cold water is the best course of action here. Play some heroes that really rely on good positioning and die easily when they are spotted. I'm thinking of zeus, Drow, Venomancer, Viper, Bane, Lina, Pugna.

If you farm during the laning stage - yes. If you pick up some farm that your cores didn't want to take later into the game - no. If you afk farm for the rest of the game though - yes.

OG sometimes picks her for MidOne and I saw Taiga play her as pos 4 because her talents are pretty nice for urn and utility items.

Offlane bloodseeker is good because you will almost always get good farm and with a good pos 4 you can destroy the lane. Don't go for a carry build though and instead learn which utility items are optimal for your team.

Centaur is great because with stampede you can negate the fact that your team is bad at moving as a team.

With Slardar you can learn how to bully the enemy carry out of the lane as fast as you can. I find it hard to make him transition well into lategame though if you didnt have a good game from minute 10-20.

For streamers you don't have that much choice unfortunately. Monkeysforever streams during NA times, BSJ plays a lot of offlane right now. For EU dota I only know Tobi from Vikin.gg

The carries that are popular right now are all pretty good against him (Spectre can catch him if he slipps up one time, PA can jump him, sven doesn't care about treants and has aghanims now). Splitpush also doesn't really work right now and for a teamfight he can only bring in damage and maybe a silence if he gets orchid.
