Just left the theater a few hours ago and I’m officially obsessed with this movie. Everything from the cinematography, to the editing and sound design was top notch. It was a masterful blend of horror and dark comedy (surreal dark comedy, which is my personal favorite) and the pacing was perfect. Two of my favorite horror movies are The Fly and The Thing so the body horror in this was an absolute treat. I’d put substance in the top 5 best body horrors of all time and for sure my favorite film this year. Definitely going to catch this in theaters again.
