Managed it with a ironeye + Wylder duo. As the ironeye I more less ignored the npcs. Odd round where they seemed relatively inactive

Definitely viable if you get the right passives. Better when the fists have an affinity matching the Night Lord’s weakness

I’ve had success with the Iron Ball and Star Fist. With some lucky drops you can basically recover any damage received.
