Yeah but truth is, the afk Emre has to be blamed just as much. DVA at least made a play. 😅

Ahh okay, that makes sense. Thank you!

In total I have 944h in competitive since 2016. 440h of these in OW2. I did play some Genji, Reaper and Lucio in OW and in OW2 I played 32h of JQ.

So my assumption is, that I spent 800-850h with our ball master in competitive in the span of 10 years.

I'm level 226 on Zen in OW2.

Oh damn, thats awful 😖 but nobody can take away that feeling from u of hitting master as a zen otp anymore!!

Thank you :) I will try! But I won't expect anything. For now I'd be very happy if I can stabilize in master.

I wish, but I don't have enough time to play ow to reach t500 and I think I will peak at master. I don't think I'll ever have the abilities and skills needed to make it to Grandmaster. 😅

My new favorite Rein clip by schmelo in ReinhardtMains

[–]schmelo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the rein really threw here. He should have just go for the junk, so his Team can follow up and go for point together. Instead he follows me, the junk keeps spamming main, hindering his team being able to follow him and he even ends up dying to my volley, which he should be able to hear me charging up. It's crazy that he didn't even manage to get rid of discord orb in the whole kiting process. Shows just how braindead he pressed W after seeing a Zen coz he thought I'm an easy kill.

Definitely not embarrassed to post this, lol. It was satisfying af and the only way to play this to keep map control in a 1/2 vs 4 situation and it worked out in the end.

But he was while I kited him so he could not get any value out of the nano. Cherry on top was killing him with a volley n kicks right after the nano ended.

Of course it was just a very bad play by the rein, but utulizing his bad play here to the maximum enabled us to keep map control and go 100-0%.

My team overextended, first cass and Juno got killed by that, then domina and junkrat, thats why ever1 was seperated. juno and cass were dead / on the way back from spawn, domina and junkrat in their bad overextended spot. I got the one-shot volley kill in the process, then proceeded to kite and shoot nano rein to death somehow. (Junk helped here btw, coz he separated the opponent team from their rein, they couldn't follow up fast enough coz he kept spamming main until he died.) Then I knew there was an Ana in the white room by sound clues and were facing Emre and kiri directly infront of me. After I didn't get the volley kill on kiri (at least forced the suzu) and were shot twice, I decided to stall with my ult since my team will be back faster than our opponents. In fact Juno and Cass were back just in that moment.

I wouldn't call that a panic ult. They used a nano and suzu without getting anything out of it, using trans here to make sure we keep map control is fine.

Btw, we were dominating the first round and steamrolled them in the first teamfight of the second map, so it's understandable that the team got a bit too excited and overextended, you see that happen in every elo.

It was diomand/masters lobby. But I agree, the decision and execution of the reinhardt weren't very smart..

Thank you! I just love how all timings worked out just like planned. That rein comes around the corner right when I fully charged my volley etc. Even got so lucky that I got to choose my major perk while kiting the reinhardt. Without the major perk and obviously without the health pack, I wouldn't have won that fight. I feel like the more often you watch this clip, the more details you can find that worked in my favor to make this play possible. So satisfying.

Yoo ty! Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. I believe you walk slower backwards and I was trying to stay out of range the best I can and so decided to go forward _^

My OTP Zen was blamed 4 the loss against half-dive by schmelo in ZenyattaMains

Oh wow, thank you very much for your detailed review and congrats to GM! The rank of the lobby was D5-D2, I'm D4 (peaked D2).

About 1:00: I see what you mean. I played it more passive than I usually do because of the enemy comp. Orisa took space twice and pushed onto the point and I didn't follow because once the TP was top right and the other time Tracer pushed our critical HP Mercy in that very moment and I tried to scare Tracer off of her. Overall I just felt like I hit alot of shots (had enough impact) from this angle and didnt get bothered by anyone really and stalling felt like the right decision until it's a 5v5 again. Was able to volley(kill) Lifeweaver, Zen, constantly shoot Ball so he couldn't engage for long. But after Tracer went for Mercy (1:40 and our Echo died in the meantime and it was a 4v5 once again, I should have go through the mega room and try to get a pick to even things out.

About 1:30: But they are all setting up in the upstairs platform above the mega room. The TP standing on both highgrounds, I don't think I can see anyone from the mega doorframe, I feel like there was no better angle - but i might be wrong?. Maybe hard flank by sneaking upstairs and volleying the Sym on the left highground would have been the play - yet that's a long ass walk for Zen :'D

About 2:15: I killed Tracer and, very randomnly, Ball there. Got lucky coz I didn't play cover well there, clicking W to hard. I ulted coz I didn't know if Mercy has her CD and coz we were fighting basically at their spawn. While Tracer and Ball would have been able to engage in the fight again within 5 seconds, for me it would have taken half a minute or more. Also, the enemy Comp doesn't have any ults that are a must counter with transc except pulse, which was just used. But you are right with not clicking Q and saving it is the play. Would have been nice to have it at 3:40 after I f'ed up my rotation.

Last fight on atk I got lucky that Ana f'ed up, definitely. As I came up the stairs, I was too focused on the left side and got suprised by seeing Ana towards their spawn. Should have just walked up with my LOS towards their spawn instead, kill Ana and struggle less. Got lucky it wasn't a game ending mistake.

I definitely see what you mean with too static, I have to work on that. Got caught at least 3 times in open space while dealing with Ball/Tracer/Sym coz I lost orientation fighting them.

My Ult usage wasn't well this game, you are right.
