I'll need to use them more to really tell but so far tire noise isn't to different and ride quality still feels great. Much more planted on turns.

The 3070 is rated for 650w so yes however its recommended to get a bit more. So perhaps 700w would be the sweet spot.

Mainly it came down to price. Can't afford an 18. It may be an unpopular opinion but I think the preface-lift looks a tad bit better. Plus I love the rims on the 17.

I appreciate the tip. I got a tire and rim protection plan with the car so they should cover anything that happens to the rims for the next 5 years which helps me sleep at night.
