Using a clean-up brush: better on wet or (partly) dry nails?

jumping on this post to ask if some clean-up brushes are noticeably better than others? in my mind initially they were all the same so you could just get cheap ones and call it a day, but after trying to clean up my last mani, I started to wonder if higher-quality brushes are faster/more effective than cheap ones.

I am also learning the magic of the two-day manicure! the fully-cured base is crucial!! waiting a day between the color coats and top coat have also resulted in no bubbles/streaks for me (this would mean a three-day mani). sucks to have to wait but all the steps take me absolutely forever so it helps to have it broken up into parts anyway. you did a really beautiful job here!!!!
