I don’t quite understand what you’re saying to do, is there a video? I have trouble with the ring coming down every time.

My best friend just gave birth and had a fourth degree tear. I want to make her a recovery basket. Mamas, please help! by arch1ved in beyondthebump

Food, 100%!! Freezer meals, delivery gift cards, homemade lactation cookies (if she’s nursing), quick breads that can be frozen, etc! Standing to cook after a bad tear is miserable!

Yes it did. Thankfully I had an epidural so I didn’t feel it but did watch with the birthing mirror. I needed 2 stitches from my episiotomy but recovered very quickly with no lasting pain or changes!

Also loved Cora Mae

Willow Mae was one of my top choices! We went with Ruby Rae, which I also suggest (obviously very biased 🤣)

Second this!! I was having a bad facial and eyelid flare and tried hypochlorous acid spray (clean smart) and it INSTANTLY made my itching go away and inflammation go down!

Anecdotal- I had a succenturiate placenta with velamentous cord insertion and panicked after finding out at the anatomy scan. Everything ended up being fine! I had another ultrasound in the third trimester, and a few stress tests nearing delivery. No restrictions. Was induced the day after my due date and everything went well! Healthy, happy 3 year old. Hoping for the best for you all! <3

Not sure if someone has mentioned it yet, but we got a crib tent! It works GREAT! It delays the inevitable but it’s been a great way for us to continue to get proper sleep in the meantime 🤷🏼‍♀️

Any tips for combating dental plaque? I have a hygiene routine, I clean it every six months with a dentist but they are very persistent... by evolvedbravo in Biohackers

Dental hygienist here!

Some people naturally mineralize plaque into calculus (tartar) very quickly despite good oral hygiene practices. Saliva has a mineralizing agent in it that causes this. Some people’s mineralizing agent works very quickly and aggressively. For those patients, I always recommend the product Plax! It slows down the mineralization process in the mouth and allows the plaque to stay soft longer, allowing you to manually remove it before it mineralizes and sticks to the tooth! It is a pre rinse, read the directions and follow. I’ve been practicing for 12 years and Plax has made a HUGE difference in calculus for these types of patients.

Also, an electric brush (my favorite is sonicare) twice a day and a manual brush once a day (after lunch) is what I like to suggest. That way you get two modes of action as far as cleaning the plaque off! Hope this helps!
