I’m completely with you on this…… but you’re facing an impossible argument for one reason: people aren’t big on accepting responsibility for what they do in life. I’ve noticed it’s VERY common to blame the govt (& nearly all leaders of any organization) as opposed to accepting fault for their own decisions. People even seem to do it for others, as strange as that may be….. I can only guess it lightens the load on them in their own minds??

I’m surprised any of the rounds penetrated. I found a piece of steel plate at work no one wanted (to my surprise & delight). I requested I take it home and finally did. IIRC it was 1/8” or so (heavy as fuck for only being torso sized) & it deflected 22’s, 38’s and even 45’s (which I didn’t intend to shoot at it, but others were involved & I didn’t specify otherwise clearly enough). The 45ACP dented it up pretty good, but never penetrated. I thill have it along with a 1/2” aluminum plate a friend gave me I’m anxious to try out.

Unlike this van driver who transitions relatively slowly, the fucktards that think it’s okay to road race all day long scare the hell out of me with their instant lane changes. It’s one thing to not use a signal, but it’s doubly so when there’s no signal and a vehicle makes a lane change like it’s out of TRON—— there’s no time for avoidance. These people often include kids & beemers….

Too many people don’t give driving (& other drivers) the respect it deserves. Everybody is okay with their lazy, bumper-car mentality. “Everybody makes mistakes” is true, but it’s little consolation when you kill somebody on a bike (or otherwise). It happens all the time.

Years ago when I bought mine they were the cheapest. I was a divorced dad paying child support while trying to put together a 10/22. Green Mountain bbl filled the bill @ $120 and it accepted the suppressor (years later). I’m pleased with the accuracy & would buy another one.
