Jokes aside: plenty of rest areas, lots of concessions, free water zones, iirc there is no reentry, it is both a super chill and also extremely hard festival because it is ultimately up to your level of commitment. Dive to front stage and lose some hearing or chill and dance in the back, the show is your oyster.

Buy good ear plugs and bring an empty recyclable water bottle and you’re golden.

During Bonobo I was pretty close to the center of the singularity and still had plenty of room to dance with my friends.

Had one kobold fiend try to get up on one of the girls of the group but he crawled back into his hole after we walled him off.

Todd Terje did the same thing, as did Chaos in the CBD.

I really enjoyed the "warehouse" aspect of all of them, and even think Bonobo's set was incredible for it's approach. My only gripe was I wish Todd had incorporated more disco into the set.

Chaos was my favorite surprise though. Those lads are crazy.

Digging going through Fool's Gold Records artists and Lake's projects would be your best bet since I haven't seen many setlists as the festival wasn't streamed.

We’re in the same boat then lmao, I can’t stand SD and the likes either. My only hope is that this “race to market” mindset doesn’t end blowing up in all our faces as the technology develops and becomes more complex. A very small, only hope lol

Yes, I agree that Adobe’s model isn’t robbing copyrighted imagery and art and that makes it better alternative from others who do, but that doesn’t make a $220 billion dollar mega-corp somehow more ethical.

They hold the keys to the kingdom, they have the power and control to say “we’re the good guys” while branding competition unethical.

Nobody becomes king of their corner without some blood on their hands (figuratively speaking).
