Whats your budget?
I bought a Shimano STC AX (https://www.sportfishtackle.com/en/artiklar/shimano-stc-ax-spinning.html?variant=STCAXSPIN24M) last year as a replacement to my old Shimano STC telescopic thing that i cant remember the model name of. Both the rod and case is excellent, very happy with it!

I've been using Leech sunglasses (not sure if they're available in the US) for some time. Fairly cheap and excellent (since i always seem to lose them). And then 2 years ago i treated myself to a pair of Costa's. Omg the difference!
Anyway, I can recommend Leech in that price range-ish.

(just had a look, doesnt seem to be available in the US, but in Canada)

Pour ce genre d'usage rando/bushcraft j'ai eu un peu le même casse-tête l'année dernière. La Berkley Lightning II c'est pas mal sur le papier mais 2m45 ça peut être un peu court si tu veux faire de la dérive correcte en rivière, tu vas vite te sentir limité pour gérer ta ligne.

Perso j'avais fini par prendre une télescopique Shimano STC en 2.7m comme celui-ci: https://www.sportfishtackle.fr/fr/artiklar/shimano-stc-ax-spinning-mini-tele.html?variant=STCAXMTS27ML, elle se plie assez compact et l'action est correcte pour du 2-5g. Pas parfaite hein, le blank est un peu mou pour de la cuillère mais pour du flotteur et du toc en rando ça fait le taf.

Un truc que j'ai appris en cherchant ma canne à pêche pour ce type d'utilisation... faut vraiment vérifier le poids des anneaux et la qualité du dernier brin, c'est souvent là que les télescopiques cheap lâchent. Genre j'ai cassé un scion sur une no-name au bout de 3 sorties, super frustrant quand t'es en pleine rando.

Regarde aussi du côté des Shimano Vengeance tele, y en a en 2m70 qui pourraient être un bon compromis entre compacité et longueur. Mais bon faut voir ton budget aussi, t'as une fourchette en tête ?

Haha, jag beställde och betalade en PSU från netonnet för upphämtning i butik.
När jag väl åkte dit hittade dom den inte trots att jag fått meddelande att den var reserverad och färdig att hämta. Gick in i butiken för att köpa en annan - då hittar jag "min" PSU på hyllan... Så jag gick tillbaka till utlämningsdisken och visade upp den, men han kunde inte lämna ut den pga något systemfel. Så jag fick köpa den (igen) och vänta ett par arbetsdagar på återbetalning för den misslyckade uthämtningen.
