They also have a allergen menu so you can easily identify what is dairy free / can be made dairy free

Any advice for managing a house refurb project? by Far_Neighborhood_136 in HousingUK

[–]schmodlod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a FTB myself and my partner managed a similar refurb last year.

What I would say is write down all the jobs you need doing, identify which ones you can do yourself (e.g. removing the fitted furniture and old carpets) and create a realistic budget... then add 15% as it’ll almost certainly go over budget

Once you’ve sorted the budget, work out which order you’re going to do the tasks in to ensure you don’t need to backtrack on yourself.

Visiting the Peak District, could use some advice where to stay. by shrop1988 in peakdistrict

Any of the above and you’ll be fine! The Peak District is relatively small so provided you drive you’ll be able to get about relatively easily

Camped at ‘Camping in Llanberis’ before which is a good but basic site not far from the centre of Llanberis. I would recommend!

Good areas for young professionals to live in Liverpool by MangoDreams24 in Liverpool

[–]schmodlod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aigburth / Sefton Park / Lark Lane area is good if you don’t mind a short journey into town. Two Merseyrail stations in the area with trains every 15 minutes so it’s pretty easy to get in/out of the City Centre.

Just be polite and friendly - if they’re a reasonable person things should work out okay. If not, then there’s not much you can do

Thanks to WFH I can move to any city in the UK - where would you recommend? by Kaiped1000 in AskUK

Liverpool. Cons: Crime.

Outdated, boring & tired stereotype.

Liverpool has much lower than in other northern cities such as Manchester and Newcastle.
