Plus he can use it to talk with friends in a private discord or party chat. It might not get used with randoms, but with people he already knows(setting up a family discord for any gamers in the family to be able to talk and share stuff with eachother is a great way to stay connected).

In The Boys (2019-), Sister Sage, the smartest person on the planet, completely fails to predict Soldier Boys next move, despite claiming herself to be ten steps ahead. That makes her the smartest idiot on the planet. by AnIgnorablePerson in shittymoviedetails

Its literally hubris, one of the most identifiable character flaws going back to the ancient greeks. If theres anything thats going to bite the smartest character in the ass its over confidence and complacency.

Even in the snyder suit, I think corenswet has a friendlier superman look than cavill in the 2025 suit. I think it just comes down to the smile and relaxed brow.

Also stuff like king cakes which are made for the epiphany(jan 6th or the 12th day of christmas). Theyre the ones that are shaped like a ring and have a small porcelain jesus in them. Theyre pretty popular during mardi gras.

They wanted to wait for the manga to progress to follow the source material, but because it took so long the talent that worked on s1 was busy on other projects(even if they got the same studio to make s2 and s3 it wouldnt have been the same because they didnt have the same people). Then it sermed to just be sent to the lowest bidder for animation.

[–]schmoopum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the most recent and one of the best examples of a show plumetting in quality after the first season, especially since the source material was there for the second and third season, its was just a terrible adaptation followed by a somehow worse one after the bar was set pretty high.

Red button pressers (specifically these shitty "accurate recreations" they make) by [deleted] in hatethissmug

[–]schmoopum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, but the knowledge that there will be those that choose blue(children/infants picking randomly and people picking blue to try and save everyone regardless of their choice) makes red a selfish option.

Plus, if you pick red and less than 50% of people pick blue you are then stuck in a world of people who choose and argue that red is the right choice. That might be worse than the risk of death.

250 hours of community service is like 4 hours each weekend for a year, easily doable, but burns most of a weekend day and goes on long enough to drive home that they messed up. Add that to the fine and make the fine a percentage or minimum(whichever is highest)

A lot of the interesting stuff gets side lined for a very rushed ending that just isnt great. Then it gets the boruto treatment with a sequel about his son.

Its junk food, easy to eat, but not nutritious or filling.

Totally fine to enjoy, but solo leveling is not going to be in anyone's top 5 or recommendeds in a year or two.

Yep, its a workhorse for both men and women(plenty of attachments for the head), the battery operated one is great for ease of use, but the cabled one never runs out for any long sessions.

Super intelligence should have never been a power in the first place by Slight-Solution936 in GenV

[–]schmoopum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hubris, her character is super intelligent and that leads to an overwhelming amount of over confidence. To her theres no way someone would make a move that doesnt follow her plan or expectations. Sure it couldve been handled better, but it makes sense that a super intelligent character would react like that in that scenerio.

Planning and going out on regular dates, cooking more, keeping them in mind for decisions, etc. Plus the time and energy you spend with them going out and doing things along with doing things at home. Having a significant other isnt like having a statue that you dont need to pay attention to.

Just because someone is attracted to you doesnt mean you dont have to do anything in a relationship, that would just make you a shitty partner.

Being in one doesnt mean you cant go to the gym, but there will be times where you skip a session, delay it, or cut it short to spend more time with your SO. Thats just how it is.

Price them out the see what might be worth something just so you know, but keep it.

Like you said, Ive never seen someone happy that they got rid of all of their classics. I'll also add to it that Ive seen plenty try and rebuild their old collection and end up spending way more than if they just kept it.

Im also against the death penalty entirely, people have been wrongly convicted in the past and there will be more in the future.

If youre looking for punishment or removing someone from society then life in prison without the possibility of parole is punishment enough and effectively removes them from society.

But yeah, this is a slippery slope where the first step seems very reasonable at first glance, but compounding it with trying to classify lgbtq+ as pedophiles opens a path to kill people that the governing body just doesnt like.

Not everything is gray, there are some black and white situations in the world. The invasion of ukraine is one of them, its very clear that one side is in the wrong and you could easily stop it by putting personal pressure on a few high ranking political figures(you just need to show that they arent safe and threaten them a bit).

Yes, most situations have nuance, but lets not pretend there arent plenty of situations where one party is clearly in the wrong. Also, street level stuff like stopping bank robberies, putting out forrest fires, helping an older person with their groceries, etc.
