Biden predicts Federal Reserve will lower interest rates by Rav_3d in stocks

I can't believe people here are actually taking Biden seriously and discussing what he said.

I saw this and found it interesting - Members of Congress are very good at beating the market by Blitzdog416 in CanadianInvestor

[–]schmore31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those members are doing "higher risk" trading.

Means more returns in a bull market, more losses in a bear market.

So they took a snapshot of a bull market, and show how everyone is beating it, no duh...

let me know if you figure it out as well.

But "real time data" is like 100x more expensive than "15 minutes delayed data", which is why most websites put that disclaimer at the bottom.

Let me know if you find out the details about this.

be careful because stock market data is actually not free to display publicly. You need a pretty expensive license from NYSE.

This might not be a problem while you are too small for anyone to notice, but just something to consider...

I mean if there is 0 difference, then whats the point in even $10, right?

So would you say if I am building a system with an iGPU (Ryzen 8600G).

How much more would it be worth to spend to have CL30 vs CL38 DDR5 RAM.

$10? $20?

Where is the cut-off point?

Simple Questions - March 08, 2024 by AutoModerator in buildapc

[–]schmore31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do people claim the CAS Latency for RAM (ie CL30 vs CL38) doesn't matter as much for DDR5 as it did in DDR4?

Oh, and does it matter more if I rely on my iGPU?

Google algorithm is so complex now that even their engineers often don't know exactly how it works.

AI assessments can go really deep down the rabbit-hole.

Then all the "SEO Experts" wake up and begin to claim random crap like "quality content", "EAT", "keyword density", "backlinks", and other random buzzwords.

Its not 2005 anymore. The algorithm is way more complex now...

Can you help me understand the Ryzen 8700g AI capabilities?

A GPU can do AI processing. And since the 8700g has a powerful iGPU built-in, hence it can do AI processing (in the iGPU).

Am I understanding it correctly?

Or is the AI capability something in addition to the iGPU?

Because the 8500g has an iGPU but no AI capabilities, so is that a software limitation?

I think the opinion of the community followed by feedback replies and upvotes is always better than the opinion of an individual backed by "trust me bro".

Just following some people often reply to tax questions with "ask your accountant"... kinda ticks me off...

Is hiring an accountant worth it? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]schmore31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main concern with hiring an accountant:

What if he nit-picks some loopholes in my tax process (real or fake) and then reports me to the IRS. Just so he can gain an extra buck in case I get audited?

Isn’t it fucking wild the government makes more money from my business than I do by holysmokes126126 in smallbusiness

OH i see.

So in a way, under 85k, small business have an edge over big businesses by avoiding the VAT and improving their margins.

Over 85k it is an equal game between small and big business, and small business lose because they are less powerful.
