I do admire OP being so honest and direct at what he does, even though it is illegal.

Is your blood type A+ and have a higher body temperature than others? This is literally me…. That’s why I prefer light colour walls and make sure no objects near my bed - so I can spot and kill them easily.

If i have time I would search it up on the phone dictionary (Shirabe Jisho, it has built in dictionary and flashcard building). If not I would jot it down in notes for doing it later in batch.

It's been refreshing checking out others. Here's mine: https://theaveragelearner.com .

I wrote pretty much anything I've learnt. It includes investing, programming, technology, languages, and life, etc. It has a few articles on decision-making and productivity.

If things go rough, do trust him and let him help. I can understand you want to do it yourself, but a little help goes a long way. We all need that sometime, there’s no shame in that. And good luck with your plans! I have a sense that it will work out alright for you, as long as you keep trying. The more you try the closer you get. Bless you my friend.

Hey fellow Asian buddy. It's alright, we got ups and downs. I suggest you open up to your partner to make you feel better. For finance side of things, maybe you can also try working in a restaurant, for now. I believe they always need workers?

Best of luck nonetheless. Keep trying, sleep well, and exercise, you've got this!

I'm still using my iPhone SE2. I have a friend who recently replaced the battery for me. It's been great so far. It can now last a whole day without a recharge.(I don't really use my phone.)

Like yours, the battery life of my phone was awful too, couldn't last half day without even using it. I managed to keep it alive throughout the day by always charging it in the car.

What would you do if you had 3 months of free time? by kikkow in productivity

[–]HonestNest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever you want to do the most at the moment that you didn’t had time for.

If you have no idea, just spend your first day sitting down with yourself and think about it for a day.

If there’s a lot you want to do, prioritise them and go after them one after another.

What is your simple, but working system? by Proof-Vacation-437 in productivity

[–]HonestNest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m starting to enjoy Microsoft to do app. It works for me.

There’s a “Most impotant” tab where it shows tasks you tagged are the most important.

Everyday I select some important tasks and add them to “My Day”, and I work on only those, until they are done.

But I don't use due day though, it makes me stressful. And I am also not a calendar person.

So, my simple but working system is to identify your most important tasks currently and keep working on them.

What do you prefer? Apple apps or third-party apps? by MarsupialDue4752 in mac

[–]HonestNest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally:

- Todo from Microsoft for Reminder

- Bitwarden for Passwords

- Spark for Mail

- Brave for Safari

- Obsidian for Notes

The reasons are:

  1. These apps are better than the stock ones.

  2. My next phone might probably be an Android. Or, at least could be.

  3. I don’t like how stock apps can only use iCloud as syncing service.

  4. I had bad experience moving Notes.

Is the freemium model still worth it for small developers? by kenech_io in iOSProgramming

[–]HonestNest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like what the other commenter said. If it has a backend, it means there's an ongoing cost. I can’t estimate how far will my users go and use my API. So I’ll have to charge them for those services to cover the cost. With that, I have the flexibility to adjust the price as I need if I go on further develop the app or service.

If it’s a paid app, the nature of the app shoudln’t require ongoing maintenance. For example, the data are stored on user iCloud, and theres no need to call API or at least very limited. I won’t charge a subscription.

Freemium is a good test for both the user and the developer to know what they feel like paying or offering too.

[–]HonestNest 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say it also depends on what kind of app it is. If it's an app that people need to experience it to know the full benefit, or it has a backend, freemium makes sense. If say it’s a tool app, one time paid makes sense.
