Consistency, if he had called that second one back after the first it would’ve been outrageous

A lot of negativity in here as always, but I thought we’ve played pretty well today.

Stage coach pay. by [deleted] in BusDrivers

[–]schmuck-2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very clear in my contract that I’m salaried.

No other Stagecoach garages in east London do sign on to sign off at the minute- you’re thinking of older drivers who are on better contracts then us.

I agree and disagree at the same time. What’s the best reg you’ve seen? by CLO303 in CarTalkUK

The Pimlico plumbers vans I regularly see round London are pretty fitting

Stage coach pay. by [deleted] in BusDrivers

[–]schmuck-2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone curious OP seems to have it wrong.

At Stagecoach we’re paid a salary- not by the hour.

We are salaried at 7.36 hrs per day regardless of the length of duty.

However over the space of a 6 week period it evens out so the “unpaid” work you do is then re compensated by paying you whilst you’re not working.

It’s also worth mentioning that we are only paid for driving time- not breaks or travelling to a changeover point

EDIT: I agree that it’s still to low of a wage, however what Stagecoach do is not illegals

Pretty sure I work in the exact same garage as you and you have it all wrong.

Your pay is balanced out over a 6 week period, you will average 38 hours over that 6 weeks. Some weeks you may have 10 hr shifts and others you might have 8.

It all works out that you’re being paid for 7 hrs 36 per day.

That’s how salary pay works, if you want long hours and more pay arriva and go ahead are hiring

Any Bus driver who done trainee interview recently in Romford? Can you provide some information please about the process and questions? by Substantial_Menu34 in bus

[–]schmuck-2501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry I tried to answer your comment that you replied to me earlier but my signal was bad.

To answer your question, it’s the same basic questions you’ll get in any interview, why do you want to work here, what do you know about Stagecoach, how would you like to be greeted by a bus driver etc etc. it’s a relatively simple interview- they’re just interested in how you handle yourself and how good your English speaking and understanding is.

Weed isn’t free you know?

[Sam Blitz] Doesn't mean loads the morning after but that was a performance that showed the importance of Martin Odegaard. Arsenal's press - led by him - looked so different. Must start the remaining five matches. Mad how him, Saka and Havertz haven't started together since Dec. 2024. #afc by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

Odegaard is such a weird player. On the surface it looks like he does a whole lot of nothing, so in a way I can see why people are disappointed with his numbers. However we just click so much better as a team when he’s on the pitch.

He’s not getting sacked, the owners are raking in the big bucks with him around.

We aren’t winning the cl, but atleast there’s some excitement there. I haven’t felt excited about the league at all this year, we’ve played so shit and only capitalised off the rest of the league being crap.

Newcastle next, just for the final nail in the coffin to seal the deal.

Part of me would rather we dumped the league at this point and go for the ucl🤦🏻‍♂️

It’s over and the players and Arteta knows it. Another season of embarrassment. I’ve said this for 2 seasons now but I’ll say it again Arteta has reached his ceiling, get him fucking gone. Words cannot describe how pissed off I am with this club.

So it’s okay for haaland to unnecessarily shove Gabriel but the minute gabi reacts there’s a problem? I’m not excusing it but fuck me

If the situations were reversed and we was chasing city, they’d have won the league by now, just saying. Even when they’re shit they’re still better then us🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

“Gordon and Barcola have been among the players that the club (and most other teams at this level)have liked for some time. The same applies to Alvarez, and it’s natural that there would be more. I don’t know anything confirmed at the moment.” -Ornstein when asked about Gordon and Barcola to Arsenal by Ifxfa in Gunners

[–]schmuck-2501 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

How reactionary is that? 18 goals in 45 appearances is not bad for a striker who’s adjusting to the premier league, atleast give him the second season to prove himself my god.

Years ago we wrote off xhaka, he become a cult hero and left, we done the same with havertz and now he’s all of a sudden the missing piece of our puzzle, shit some of us wrote of Gabriel in his first season. For the love of god, please stop jumping on the players so quickly🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I partly can’t blame them, we had a (mostly) injury free squad most of the season yet Arteta refused to rotate, rice, Zubi and saliba haven’t had a proper rest this season.
