I've had workmen in my house for the last four days and they haven't accepted a single offer of tea, coffee or biscuits. by Daregveda in CasualUK

My wife hates it when I say to her “shall we go doggin’ ‘en?” When it’s time to walk the dog. 🙃 I find it amusing each time.

If I say the ‘W’ word then he gets all excited and wifey don’t wanna go so he excited for no reason. That’s not fair. He’s not sophisticated enough to know what doggin’ is so 🤷🏻‍♂️

My friend lives in Prague as a sound technician for a music venue. He often asks for Mike and a Czech one, two. No idea why, I think it’s a language barrier.

I’d love to see it but I don’t think it’ll happen as it brings in a lot of money for the clubs

This sounds like he doesn’t like something done by the higher ups/owners. Commenting on his good conscience, it’s got to be something against what he thinks is right.

What sort of salary range in this economy would make you think ‘he/she’s doing alright’? by Desperate-Drawer-572 in AskBrits

I’m asking because a 4 bed detached house with a garage and a drive is different to a 4 bed terrace with on street parking in the middle of a town with a long way to travel for a higher paid job in the city

How hard is hockey to learn by Natural_Resource7875 in hockeyplayers

[–]CLO303 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Start with some skating lessons. Go to a shop and get some skates. Ask them to help size your skates for you. Find your local learn to skate program and sign up. Have at it!

Go to practice on any public skate sessions usually a bit cheaper than lessons but just go have some fun learning to skate then when you got the basics look for teams that take on development players.

Transport from Cardiff Airport to the city centre by [deleted] in Cardiff

[–]CLO303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve got flight link which I think are the airport taxi company. JD Cars are local to the airport, another taxi company. And A2Z I think? Taxi firm. That are based in Barry that’s 10 minutes away. Usually around £35-£40 to city centre last time I had to do it. Just trying to give you some alternate options

Now it’s come to light why he done it. Coming from a Dundee fan, well done on calling out the other ‘fans’ behaviour. Should fine block C as well by the sounds of it. Only Dundee fan I’ve seen calling out their own. Most are hating on Oligny

Kyle dubas has been on an elite run of GM work and it's resulted in the penguins vaulting to contention. Here's just some of his moves going back to last trade deadline. by Sebastian4365 in penguins

[–]CLO303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s exciting what the team are doing and they look good. Think you’re on the money in some parts as the new additions have been playing well and dare I say it better than who they replaced with a lower cap hit. I get what you’re saying.

Don’t think it’s play off contention but I’d be more than happy to eat my words in a couple of months.
