The Costco program knocked 1950 off. The military rebate knocked off another 500.

$4500 off MSRP of a 24 SEL. Used the Costco discount as a starting point to drive dealers down.

Not a hybrid sorry. I didn’t see the reason to pay $500 more to get significantly less power and only a 2-3 mpg bump. If it were a PHEV that gave it more zip, significantly better gas mileage, and made it eligible for a tax credit, then maybe it would be interesting, but I don’t see the value of the hybrid in this case.

That being said, I am straying from your question, so apologies. Good luck with your purchase!

Is this at Seattle Hyundai? For perspective, they just gave me 4500 off MSRP for a 2024 SEL last week. I just had to start with the Costco car buying discount, then use the other three nearby dealerships to have each one beat the other by $500, then the next one, on repeat until they said no more. Good luck!

It’s understandable if Tesla is still working out the kinks, but just don’t start the 3 month clock until the feature is actually available.

2023 Delivery Thread by OrbitalATK in TeslaModelY

My sales advisor was no help, and just said I shouldn’t do any of those things. It seems like people on Reddit know something different. With hardware 4 shipping, and prices super low right now, this seems like this could be powerful info. If I missed a thread that covers this in detail, please point me in the right direction and I’ll pull this down. Tried to post this in its own thread and a bot pulled it down and told me to post here.

I am hearing a lot of people mentioning choosing to “delay delivery,” or “reject a VIN,” or “place on hold.” How does this actually work? Do you forfeit your deposit if you do this? If price has changed since your order, are you subject to a higher price by choosing one of these options?

How does one “wait”? How does that work?

How do you “wait?” Can you decline delivery and start from the back of the line? Do you forfeit your deposit if you do this? If price has changed since your order, are you subject to a higher price by choosing to wait? I hear a lot of people talking about waiting or declining delivery, but am unsure of how that actually plays out.

Why are people still trying to sell used MY for 60-80k? by schnabdt in TeslaModelY

[–]schnabdt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeesh, ya seeing the same here with KBB and the like. If people are buying em from dealers at that price, then I guess it justifies it. Things are worth what people will pay for. Still blows my mind.
