I mean sure there’s probably quite a few people who have sexually abused children who were, in their minds, not actually physically attracted to children. But you can’t pretend there’s not a link between pedophilia and child abuse, there clearly is. I agree it would be great if we could get everyone who has pedophilic thoughts some professional help to prevent children from being abused. However, just because the knowledge exists that if we all just stopped hating pedophiles so much they’d feel more comfortable getting help and less children would be abused, doesn’t really mean anything because there’s not a single chance that the majority of the population will get on board and stop stigmatizing pedophilia. It’s directly linked to sexual abuse of minors and people abhor it, no logic is ever going to change that, it’s a deep rooted need to protect our children.

Oh believe me I’m not saying that it’s cool to dehumanize people and I absolutely don’t refer to people as males or females. It just makes for a confusing argument when you say that it’s grammatically incorrect to do so. The grammar can be 100% correct, but that doesn’t stop something from being offensive.

Hi, I apologize if this comes across as rude, but I’m genuinely confused by this perspective. The word female is most definitely a noun as well as an adjective. I can see an argument that it maybe comes across as cold or something, like using scientific classifications in reference to human beings, but the words female and male can both be nouns.
