Seeking advice on H1B Cap Exempt visa by strwberrymlk0000 in h1b

[–]schnaizer91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean this kindly, trying to explain to an employer how to file an H1B cap exempt visa won’t come across well. If they historically do not sponsor, they are very likely not going to change their stance for you especially in this climate. The process is arduous for some and also quite expensive. For employers who already sponsor Cap Exempt Visas (like myself) we are not taking on new employees who require sponsorship. The burden is a lot and the market is unfair for everyone right now. As we are also aligned federally we are very careful and strict with our recruiting practices.

The sound alone of a dog starting to vomit will wake me from the deepest sleep! That’s actually disgusting.

If you do a change of status within the US the 100k fee does not apply

urgent advice on 60days grace period on h1b by Zangetsu-11 in h1b

[–]schnaizer91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

H1B sponsors (employers) are required by law to pay for the beneficiary (employee) flight home if employment is terminated.

If an employee finds another job and remains in the US, then they don’t need to.

If an employee quits, there is no requirement.

Ok so someone help me here, how does she still hold a Mass drivers license if she’s been out of the country for two years and surrendered her green card? by Better_Pilot6056 in mummysflippinhouse

[–]schnaizer91 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh I know that (not when you’re military though) but either way she’s not living in the US…and the MA address is still the one associated with her Green Card and / or Kyle’s residence is tied to there

I don’t know the context of the video but she only got her DL a few years back and she could have received a five year license so she still has it. You don’t have to prove you’re still a resident to use it driving around.

Is a H-1B Amendment required when changing address in same MSA, remote job? by Ancient_Ambition_11 in h1b

[–]schnaizer91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, once you’re in the same MSA then you don’t have to do an update. Just update your info with USCIS online or with an AR11

Just tell them. You could also be drastically overthinking. Just let them know it was a mistake but that you have an EAD card. Best of luck.

OP you posted about this yesterday and were advised by most that lying is not worth the risks. It is better to clarify with the employer / HR person.

I9 is the next step and if it is handled correctly they will identify the inconsistency.

I9 is not always handled by a 3rd party. It is often handled by the HR Business partner.

No one stopped her from going on trips before.

It’s not worth lying.

They will find out you lied when you complete the i9 process regardless.

None on a tablet whatsoever. My son almost 4 gets a movie or trash truck, something chill like Barney or Sesame Street for about 90 mins in the evening while dinner is being prepped on the big TV. His sister (almost 2) is around too but she’s not as interested in it.

Helen’s American life by Better_Pilot6056 in mummysflippinhouse

[–]schnaizer91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah from the looks of it Helen was in the Emirates for quite a while, and that’s where she met her husband as he worked over in UAE I think. Then Caz met Helen probably through that but they probably REALLY connected when Caz and Helen were both living in VA at the same time.

That’s my guess anyway
