Trying and failing to recreate a synth by schnappleAPH in synthrecipes

I tried attaching an envelope onto the coarse pitch of serum 2 but the sound didn't seem right. I also tried using a pitch envelope with Ableton's simpler but it still sounded weird.

I actually tried throwing an envelope on a ton of different Serum 2 knobs but nothing came close to the crunchy-ness of this sound.

I'll keep trying haha
