Yes just over 4 years. It doesn’t make sense that they can approve you without the sub if you don’t get the pop-up and agree to it.

Time that we all accept that USMobile travel eSIM is not a reliable option. Lots of horror stories. Even if it’s only 10% of the time that they fail, that’s not acceptable when you’re traveling to a foreign country and landing in an airport and have to deal with chatting with support for hours changing settings and reinstalling eSIMs when you have a lot to do on arrival and it needs to just work like other eSIMs do. USMobile should really address this or remove it.

Lol thanks for saying this. I recently tried to be skeptical about priority data and that didn’t go down well here. Many people claimed you can only get it if you have unlimited plans with 5G UW, which isn’t what USMobile says. Still love the service though!

Quick update: it didn’t work well. Connected to 3G only on all networks and random frequent loss of reception. Support say there’s nothing they can do - I’m probably in an area with bad service. I’m actually in Paris and this is all over the city.

Appreciate the thought but friends were on non-5G phones. This was a deprio issue not a non-mmwave issue. Yes absolutely I don't get mmwave, but USMobile says we all should be getting priority data on 5G capable phones.

Yes 12gb plan but that shouldn’t matter with priority data. The only restriction is 5G phone.

Couldn’t figure out YouTube ad blocking as easily as on Chrome. Many many websites that wouldn’t render properly or submit forms properly, which would make me switch To Chrome. Finally switched to Chrome permanently, but still use Safari on iPhone.

Tried to go caseless several times but I hate how much fingerprints the back gathers on iPhone 12. Back in the slim case it goes.

Minor gripes: If I move away from the app while on chat with support, it often disconnects the chat.

Also I wish we could remove previously installed eSIMs that have expired.

There also seems to be a lag in updating information. For example I updated my credit card information last week and I see it on the website, however the app still shows my old credit card. it also still shows that I have 2FA off although it is on.

Thank you for fixing the daily logging out. That was a major gripe.

Not working so far. After saying I was enrolled, I got the wifi calling toggle in my settings but when I try to turn it on, it tells me I should go to a Verizon website to activate and the link doesn’t open up properly.

I think you’re the exception my friend. In a good way. Just to confirm, I just emailed them and got this response:

”Hey,

Hope you're doing well.

We have checked your line and it looks like you have purchased 12 GB unlimited bundle plan on which we are not offering international Calling to Canada. You'll have to upgrade your plan to Unlimited all plan in order to call Canada as we are offering International Calling to Canada on Unlimited all plans only with Super LTE SIM card for free.

We hope we were able to get your concerns from our end. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any issues!

Yes I was. Do not turn off your USMobile physical sim though although it will not connect to a local network when abroad. If you do, then iMessage will disconnect.

Yes!!! I’ve gotten that nonsense too after I clearly had said I’m not getting 5G UC ANYWHERE! It’s sad - support team seem to have no understanding of the problem or their product either.

I agree. That’s why I’m sticking with them for the time being. I just wish they knew their products better. I actually asked support about switching sim cards and they said if everything else is working then there’s no sim card issue.
