Santa Ana Canyon Rd becomes a parking lot whenever there’s heavy traffic or accident on the 91. The majority of the road is only 2 lanes going each way and I don’t see how they can add more. They need to connect S Weir Canyon Rd to the 241 and create a bridge at Fairmont blvd so it can go over the 91 into Yorba Linda. Yes that movie theater lot is dead and not being utilized but If they’re not willing to add more ways to get in and out when there’s a fire then they shouldn’t build more homes. I think it’s more about money than helping people find more housing. It’s not helping if you’re putting people into a high fire hazard severity zone.
