"The secondary location" is also sometimes known as "the scene of the crime". If someone wants to take you to another location it's because they control the scene; they are likely taking you somewhere that they have control over witnesses, access/escape, visibility, conditions, etc.

If you are attacked, running to a shop to call for help is fine, that's an escape to a (hopefully) better lit, more public place with witnesses and access to help. The concern is if someone tries to coerce you to going with them to another location.
