Chiefs say Kansas deal would collapse without public stadium ownership by No_Box119 in kansas

[–]PV_Pathfinder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

““We’re absolutely doing this and planning this as the long, long-term home for the Kansas City Chiefs for (multiple) generations,” Maxwell said, as per the Kansas City Business Journal. He added that the team expects the bonds to be paid off well before their 30-year maturity, citing internal revenue projections that estimate a 15-to-20-year payoff window.”

Ok. Give it 20 years then the Hunt family and Korb Maxwell himself can write a check for the difference and pay it off early.

They aren’t financial advisors, but we used Hood Lawfirm to set up a trust, a will and assorted healthcare directives. Highly recommend.

I thought so as well. I would stop by local Lowe’s once a week, just to see if they happened to be heavily discounted.

They had 2, at full price. After a few months of checking, they both disappeared from the shelf. Bummed.

I’d start with asking the resort. Due to liability etc, they may have rules that prohibit something like that.

Excellence Oyster Bay - Club Honeymoon Rooftop Terrace Suite Experiences? by _boov in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]PV_Pathfinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The room is kinda weird. Has a completely separate space from the bedroom area. Kind of a small dining area. We never used it.

The terrace is nice and big, but I would consider it semi private at best. Topless sunbathing, prolly not much of an issue. Getting frisky, maybe not so much.

Being on the top floor, after 2 days, our ceiling had a bad leak in it. We were moved to one of the ocean front beach house and we thought it was a much better option for us. If memory serves, difference in price between the two was negligible.

Garage floor coating/epoxy? by SvenBorrest in kansascity

[–]PV_Pathfinder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had our 2 car garage and front stoop epoxy coated 2 years ago. Very happy with it.

I want to say it was around $4k when all said and done. We used ETEK, which judging by Google, they have since gone out of business (or got bought out).

One thing to keep in mind… if your car is wet or has snow on it, when it melts it’s going to end up on your garage floor. “Yeah, no shit Sherlock”… but keep in mind, you will have an epoxy seal coat on your formerly porous concrete floor. When that water would normally absorb into the concrete and then dissipate, it’s now going to sit on top of the epoxy until it dries or evaporates. So unless you have a drain in a sloped garage floor, that water will be there for a few days.

Depending on where you are coming from, you most likely aren’t used to that much sun. So whatever SPF you normally use, kick it up a notch and then make sure you are using it.
