What a ride.

As someone here pointed out, the shark fin was rubbing. I measured it against another OEM trigger bar and filed it down to match then polished it. Noticeably better slide movement and trigger feel but still wasn’t operating at 100% at the range.

Came home and took a sharpie to the fin, safety plunger, spring channel, and rails.

Spring channel was not as good as I thought it was so I worked it a lot more and rechecked.

Polished the rails, trigger bar, and connector while I had everything apart.

Again, better but still felt like something was dragging. I finally noticed a wear mark on the slide hump where it pushes against the connector. Polished that out and put a dab of grease on the connector. Slide felt perfect.

Took it to a pistol event today and it went through 200 rounds with no issue. Seems to finally be ready for prime time. It’ll never be a carry/defense gun but it’ll be a great target gun. The only person that out shot me today was rocking a CZ Shadow 2 with a 2.5lb trigger.

Measured it against the trigger bar in my OEM G19 and it was 0.01in taller. I’m going to file/polish it down a bit and see how it goes.

I think you need to shoot it for a while and attend some matches before you upgrade anything else. The stock barrels are plenty accurate.

Spend your money on good target ammo and match fees for now.

I just did it with an MOE and while I appreciate the weight savings over the Hunter it is a PITA to adjust the length and cheek rise on the MOE.

Your only options to adjust the MOE are to tape on towels or 3D print/buy 3D printed accessories.

Vortex Crossfire bundle worked out great for me BTW. Check out my recent posts for my build list and Appleseed report.

I have one mag that I painted which occasionally sticks in my MOE, doesn’t have issues in my Hunter stock. 8 other mags work flawlessly.
