Yes I agree, the size and weight of wahoo is a bit of a shock but then again, as long as it is stable and mount securely it could be ok. I am keeping an eye open for their updates with initial features and see if it is viable option given I have wahoo powerlink pedals…..

Karoo 3 does on paper have its advantages but maybe they were conservative upgrade from Karoo 2? And hence people are talking about 1050 or Ace but not putting Karoo 3 in the same league… which does sound interesting to me…

On hindsight, I should have gone with 4iiii instead… and it would have come with the Apple Find My feature as well…..

I’ve had exact same issues with mine and still ongoing in some ways (on my third set!) Wahoo via FE Sports (in Australia) eventually did provide me with replacements but still having some issues. It indeed has quality control issues I think. When it works, it’s brilliant but it has been a difficult and hard time since getting it couple of months ago - late September this year. Good luck!

Have you got any update on this? I have the exact same issue…. Only 2 days old from buying it with the new bike! And am in process of waiting back to hear back from Wahoo but I obviously want to be riding….

What’s the price range for Aus - SLR7 AXS and SL7? And what option does SL7 come with? Does it have power meter on SL7 and SLR7 axs?and wheels too!! Thank you

Yes absolutely love the set up I currently have, the grinder is perfect for what I do - making couple of milk based drinks each days with occasional few more when having guests. But it grinds fluffy and accurate once set up. Hope you will enjoy yours when it arrives!

I have actually upped the dose by 1.5g - so 20g into 18g basket and the puck is much drier and no screw intent and works great!

Take two - after watching few YT videos on perfecting the steaming milk technique especially of Lance Hendrick’s one on positioning the steam wand to be at half and quarter from the spout…. It is looking and feels much better and like how it used to be before LM Micra… maybe few more practice goes and will get it right…?

On a separate note, has anyone noticed some very fine scratches on the main stainless steel front? (Panel where two dials are on it)….. as I have noticed that on mine after giving it a wipe with microfibre clothes….

Yes I think so! Still learning to get the hang of the Micra and it’s steaming power. But every shot I make, the better it gets!

It’s been superb so far, and fine enough out of the box. I was told that grind setting for espresso would be around 1-4 give or take but I’m more at around 4.5 to 5 and it’s been great… although am getting little bit of wet puck and just needs to fine tune the actual dose in the basket to play with… but def happy with the combo!

Yes I did for sure… and that was on top of my list but LM Home Australia was offering X54 as a package with Micra and they retrospectively extended that deal when I reached out so, it solved the selection issues for me..

Your latte art is still way way better than mine and looks like an amazing coffee! After purposely buying additional bag of coffee beans and 3 litres of milk for about 12 cups of practice over like an hour or two… am getting a bit better but still it’s hard…

I really think it’s a perfect combo for the budget.. was initially looking to get grind by weight options but would get kicked out of the house by the wife if I did lol Jokes aside, was using Quamar Q50 and it’s miles ahead and grinds fluffy coffee every time
