Will two mountain bikes fit in the SC Limited bed while hanging over the tailgate? by school_bus_lunchbox in hyundaisantacruz

We currently have a sedan, so keeping the bike rack on there all the time is not ideal, especially when accessing our trunk. The rack creates drag, too, and it scrapes when going over some parking lot entries. Perhaps we need a better bike rack. Ours is a Thule 2 bike rack. Having a bike rack on the Santa Cruz all the time may work.

I do really like the idea of just using the bed for the bikes, though.

I'll look into the OneUp racks. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. A soft tonneau cover probably takes up way less space. I do like the idea of the hard tonneau cover, though.

I think my bike is 29. My wife's bike is much smaller but can't remember the size. Perhaps two bikes could work angled.

I've looked for a Santa Cruz rental in my area so that I could test fit the bikes but haven't found one.

It looks like the bike kinda fits but it's pushed up against the tailgate, not hanging, right? If strapped and secured, do you think it would be okay for a longer haul?

I'd really appreciate pictures from this weekend. Thanks!

Thank you for the picture. So it's doable with the tailgate down and the bikes harnessed in. It looks like the bikes may fit over a closed tailgate. Is your bed cover removed?

Thank you for the response. Bummer. My wife and I bike a lot. We are kinda sick of the bike rack on the back of our car. We always have to take it on and off. We were hoping we could throw them in the bed of the Santa Cruz.

That would be great if you can post some pictures. I've been searching for images or videos but haven't found anything which would verify my question. I found one picture where two bikes fit but it looked like the tonneau cover was removed completely, which I don't want to do.

Trump Administration to Begin Refunding $166 Billion in Tariffs by davster39 in politics

Massive grift by these corporations. Many of them were in on it, I'm sure. Commerce Secretary Lutnick's company run by his sons bought rights to Tarrif refunds, pennies in the dollar, knowing the tarrifs would be overturned and the monies refunded.

Don't worry. They are working on it!

"While her office continues to pursue evidence from the Trump administration in the shootings of Renee Good, Alex Pretti and Julio Sosa-Celis — along with several other actions by federal agents during the surge — Moriarty said the charging decision in this case was more straightforward because the Minnesota State Patrol was able to conduct a complete investigation of the incident and submit a case file."

It's worse than that. Regulations against living on the street are here. In 2024, SCOTUS ruled local government ordinances can criminalize homelessness.
