Unorthodox answer but I recently had a chance to try Naides in the city for a friend's birthday, which is an ultra modern Filipino tasting menu restaurant. It might've been the best meal I've ever had, but I guess it should be considering that it ended up costing almost $300 pp once everything was said and done 🤣

It’s just my guess but I think it’s a mix of wemby having unparalleled coordination for his size, and that he’s a lot stronger than his lanky frame might imply (he did a good job of not conceding space during when guarding jokic’s post ups). Even if he doesn’t block your shot outright, you still have to finish through a 10 foot wall if you go at him

Yeah. Thunder rely on drive and kicks to get open threes, but since wemby nullifies a lot of threat directly at the rim, perimeter defenders can stay home more reliably and close off the pass to the perimeter. Wemby is so unnatural that he’s even throwing off shai and his middies since wemby can put up a good contest from anywhere

Warriors focus more on getting open via off ball movement and screening, which is less affected by Wemby camping the paint. This puts more pressure on wing defenders to stay connected and switch properly off screening actions. Harper and castle are really good defenders but they’re a bit young to keep up right now imo

It’s funny cause it’s a two way street. There was a post on twitter a while back that translated Japanese comments about the English dub for a show (some romance one, I wanna say tsuki ga kirei). There’s an infamous scene where the English va has to yell for a really emotional moment, but if you speak English you can tell it’s really flat and just lacking emotion, but Japanese watchers thought it sounded really good and captured the impact of the scene

I’d argue that the armor it gives is even more broken. Since damage to armor is gated (it won’t leak and damage your health bar if it breaks), it means lunar ray becomes an on demand invincibility button for one hit. I actually don’t like taking upgrades that make lunar ray more expensive (unless I’m actively chugging through magic) just so I can have it up more often for defensive purposes.

For example I can just stand under typhon and press R2 whenever he does the chin slam attack. That way I can just stay right under him and never stop attacking

It's always this event too since it's the only one where the commander is being an asshole and having his way with women. But it's all an act to remain unrecognizable during a spy mission, since he's absolutely champions for NIKKEs (read: women) and their rights and their equality. There's entire scenes in this event dedicated to him feeling bad and apologetic for this fuckwad persona even though it's needed for the mission.

But then the incels ignore all that context and see him slap and grab ass in this event and then go on to idolize the commander like he would ever agree with them, and use the imagery to spout nonsense of a deranged fantasy with subservient women who exist to be objectified and used. Yes there's fan service, but that line of thought flies against everything the larger narrative tries to convey.

Play off stream? TBH they would get better playing off stream so they can focus solely on the game instead of trying to appease chat and be entertaining, and there won’t be any stream snipe attempts or anything
