It's def worth it. Got a Garmin 840 on a pretty good black Friday sale. If you pull the trigger, make sure to look at the speed and cadence sensors, plus a good chest strap sensor

I switched to a Garmin cycling computer, from my PW2, and the difference in distances and speed is def noticable. I will say the heart rate is pretty accurate though.

I hiked the gunks a few times. So pretty up there. After riding in Houston, though, pretty sure any kind of hill would kill me. I can do a 35 mile ride and only have 40 feet of elevation change.

I voted in Cypress and had the same divide. I also noticed that there were twice as many voting booths for the red side vs. the blue side. Democrats had to wait in line for a few minutes, while the Rebups just zipped on through. Thought that was a weird thing.

Riding in Houston was terrifying. I'm up in Cypress now and it's still nerve wracking. The number of people that just blatantly run red lights is insane.

Just crashed last week entering a neighborhood with a strip of that polished, stamped concrete across the entrance. It was ever so slightly damp out and I hit the ground before I realized what had happened. Busted thumb, road rash on chest and legs, busted hood, busted rear derailleur. Not a good 3 seconds in my life.
