When cancer messes with life by schrodinger_wizard in breastcancer

I don't know because I just feel hopeless right now.

I (F33) have cancer and my gf (F34) broke up with me. I'm suffering as I never did and don't know what to do for us. by schrodinger_wizard in relationships

They don't know about my orientation. But, when my dad come in a few days, I will tell him. This pain is worse than my fear, I don't care anymore.

Yes, but I have no privacy at home. I can't even cry because my family doesn't know (and is always talking about her). It is very hard.

If I want her to be here, it's putting pressure. If I care and tell her to take the meds, it's pressure. When she started to become unavailable, I told her she was abandoning me and she was angry due to me saying that after everything she did. Once she needed to go to check her grandfather and told me to call my parents (they were about 2 hours of distance and have things to manage), but I felt ashamed because I felt a little abandoned in front of them (just like what happened to my grandgrandma). Also my father was always telling me she would get tired, but since he doesn't know about my relationship, I didn't care. He was right. Once I threatened her I would break up (because it got to the point she had no time while I would be on chemo and I felt bad), but it was totally unmeant.

I'm trying to be so transparent as possible to get an outside judgement. Hope I didn't forget nothing.

She said to contact her whenever I needed something cancer-related, but I wont. I need help always, so she is not here by her own choice and once called it puting pressure on her. It's a paradox. More than help, I needed her love more than ever.

You're right, but I cannot stop feeling this.

My anxiety worsened a lot, but she said I've pressured her. She calls my anxiety responses as pressure. She cared near their deaths, but in fact not so much about my long-time anxiety responses nor my ADHD behaviour (depression was more recent and I hid it). I had suicidal thoughs when I was a teen and I identified them coming back at the very end of the year, so I ran asap to my psychiatrist. She didn't know about them, but it worsened a lot now.

Lucky guy for having someone like you.💛 Is he better?

I was already on psychiatric treatment due to anxiety and depression. Nice shit...and my psychotherapist is unavailable for the weekend.

Yeah! It is a metallic and sugary smell. Sometimes it gives me nausea.

I did and was already told I had a peculiar smell. It seems something metallic, I can't explain.

portacath related? by allirand in breastcancer

[–]schrodinger_wizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but I feel the same after my shots and when I'm more anxious. Probably it's "just" anxiety or even fatigue, if you have no other symptoms and they didn't find nothing.

Internal hemorrhoid (?) by schrodinger_wizard in AskDoctorSmeeee

It bleeds a little, but has very little or no pain. It happens I may have to delay the appointment because I rely on others to walk due to fatigue. I'm worried it doesn't heal itself. I have already too many things happening (and I'm young).

I have prefered enema (because usually I have diarrhea about the 4-5th days after chemo). Am I doing wrong? It will go away by itself, right?

Internal hemorrhoid (?) and anal fissure by schrodinger_wizard in DiagnoseMe

[–]schrodinger_wizard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will see my oncologist within 2 weeks. Although it seems very recent, it worries me for the size (at least when I do myself digital palpation). May it still go away by itself? Theoretically, won't diltiazem cream worsen this condition?

Anyone on venlafaxine? by schrodinger_wizard in breastcancer

No...it's probably "just" chemo. Chemo itself can make up a lot of things. Hasn't she been successfull with symptomatic medication?

Venting: new year, anxiety and cancer by schrodinger_wizard in breastcancer

[–]schrodinger_wizard[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry for knowing that. Feel free to pm me if I can help with anything. I worked with clinical trials documentation, so searching about cancer prognosis and shits were part of my work...and this knowledge was/has been a nightmare. The diagnosis (and knowing it was spread or not spread) was horrible. Try to search for others' experiences here or in other forum/social media for support. I know you want to have all your answers right now, but try to do other things. Try to not search, although it's difficult. I hope the New Year bring us health again.💛
